[Equipment] Will any SD card work?

My machine is only a few months old. No SD card. I was told I did not need one as dme company would retrieve data. Physician unable to get data because the system "was down". I want to use a data card. I see there are lots of choices on Amazon. I don't want to go through dme company.  Is there a particular size or version I should get?

Your machine can use either SDHC or SDXC (High Capacity or eXtended Capacity).  A two gigabyte (2Gb) size is adequate, but the price per gig is often skewed (guess because the manufacturers make so many more of the higher capacity cards) so: buy the most affordable over 2 Gb and not over 32 Gb.
