I recently got a brand new Philips Dreamstation and was using OSCAR to monitor my data (congratulations for the great software by the way !) . I did not want to always remove/install/ remove the SD Card to read the data so I also got a brand new Ezshare WiFi SD card (white one, with the micro SD opening), but this is not working ... My observations :
1) The standard card that came with the CPAP machine is working fine (I can see a new set of log files every time I use the CPAP machine)
2) A small micro-SD card also works fine with the CPAP using a standard SD adapter (not the EZShare WiFi adapter)
3) Different micro-SD cards (brands, capacity etc.) also works fine with a standard SD adapter on the CPAP machine.
4) Installing the EZshare WiFi SD adapter with any micro-SD card that worked as above and the CPAP machine complains showing a message in the screen : "Error accessing SD card, remove and re-insert the card" . The CPAP machine works, but it does not log any data to this combination of EZShare + micro-SD.
5) In the computer, the combination EZshare + micro-SD works fine (can format, write and read)
I noticed the EZshare SD adapter always has a file named ezshare.cfg with zero size in the root folder and, for the records, the model reported by Philips Dreamstation is "Auto CPAP" and the firmware revision is V 1.1.8 . The EZshare adapter is a black box, as you may already know ...
After spending some hours integrating the EZshare into my network using a cheap old WiFi router with OpenWRT to bridge the two networks (I naively assumed the EZcard adapter would anyway work with the CPAP machine as I could read the EZshare + SD micro-SD inserted in the CPAP machine through the browser) I came to the conclusion that this combination (Philips CPAP+Ezshare Wifi adapter) will never work, as very likely the firmware of the Philips CPAP does not like something the EZshare adapter introduces in the middle of the way. The Philips Dreamstation came with an WiFi adapter, but this is another piece of half-baked hardware+firmware that only connects to the Philips provider....
Happy new year ..
