Help needed with OSCAR data and pressure

Help needed with OSCAR data and pressure
Hi all,

I've been using my CPAP for a year now and with some success, but i'm looking to get the most out of my machine and want to ensure the correct pressure.  I regularly change the pressure, sometimes it helps, sometimes not.  I've just discovered OSCAR and looked at my data but it's all foriegn to me.  I was hoping someone could help me understand and advise what pressure I should stick to, alongside some other settings to use like EPR. I have some good days and bad. Terrible mood swings, yawning and tired through the day. Bloating sometimes with painful belly (although not often). I want to stop guessing and start the correct settings to get the best out of my treatment. My untreated AHI was 108.9.

Thank you

RE: Help needed with OSCAR data and pressure
Welcome

Going from an AHI of 108.9 to 2.90 is massive improvement!!!

You have a lot of leaks.  Here are some tips to help:      Mask Primer              Mask leak solutions

You have 0.19 95th %tile flow limitations also.  By using EPR of either 1, 2, or 3 full time, this could lower these flow limitations.  Flow limitations are not full apneas, but airflow is restricted from 1% to 50%.

First try to conquer the leaks before you try the EPR.

I totally agree with jay on the leaks but I would use the EPR 3 because it should make the pressure go up less and make it easier to control the leaks.
