RE: Help with new mask
Hey all, so I have the new settings in place. I tried the SCC one night and while I was able to sleep the one I have isn't fitting right - it's the right size for around my neck but too tall. While I didn't have bruises the underside of my chin was too sore to sleep with it for a second night. I could tell it for sure helped keep my mouth closed though. I think it also helped to switch to sleeping with only one pillow, I've been having very little dry mouth the last few days. I am going to work to see if I can trim down this collar a bit or find a different one. I think maybe half an inch less would really help the comfort level.

I've included updated screen shots of my OSCAR data. I got the SCC and slept with it on the 15th. The many OAs on the 17th in the first 30 min of the night were my nose being completely plugged up and I used the warm humid air and pressure to get them open.

One question; on the 15th the the scale for the leak rate is up at 120 marked by gray lines, but I don't see an explanation in OSCAR for what this means.

Any other suggestions based on the data shown from OSCAR?  Thanks!

RE: Help with new mask
Your leaks are not high enough to worry about, so you can safely ignore them. Smile You do still need a soft cervical collar though to beat the positional apnea. If you don't want to wear a collar, there are other possibilities. Some folks are better if they sleep on a very flat pillow. I bought a child-size pillow with an elevated ridge on the front and back that tips my head back slightly, which solved my positional apnea altogether. That particular pillow is no longer made, but there's one on Amazon that looks like it might work. Here's a link in case you are interested:
