Where does you definition of an Apnea come from?

Is the formula use in SleepyHead or Rescan.

I ask because I have been reading medical Journals and I find the definition varies by source

ah sorry, should have listed the citation, this reference from the NIH:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3459210/

it's the machines that score apneas, not the software.

RE: How does Flow Limitation affect pressure
Update:

Increased max pressure up to 11.6 as suggested.
Results:
Channel Min Med 95% Max
PressureTherapy Pressure (cmH2O)
W-Avg: 9.22 5.00 9.98 10.92 11.46

AHI was 1.76 representing 7 CA, 4 OA and no H

Just starting my third week using APAP and seem to be adapting to the routine

RobySue, the links to the detailed info on Algorithms used in CPAP industry are very useful. Just the kind of info a retired engineer enjoys LOL
