How to not hate my ResMed AirMini?
Anyone have any tips?
I'm going on a 3 week road trip with my husband and MIL and we are camping. I bought the AirMini for it but when I tried to use it during a recent power outage I couldn't sleep at all. It's so loud! And despite using the same settings as my ResMed 10, I felt like breathing was a struggle. I'm guessing it was the EPR but I felt like I was just laying there fighting the stupid machine every time I'd breath in or out.
I've been using the AirSense 10 every night for almost 2 years now. I really underestimated how much more difficult the AirMini would be. I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

RE: How to not hate my ResMed AirMini?
I use my Airmini a LOT, as I'm a traveling professional. Mine is not loud at all. the only thing I hear is my breathing through the mouthpiece and an occasional leak. The machine itself makes no noise. I actually put it on the corner of the bed. I think it works well.
RE: How to not hate my ResMed AirMini?
I've had my AirMini for 4 months now, and have used it for a total of ~ 14 nights. I find that there is very little difference between it and my AirSense 10. I use the Q-Lite muffler with it, and that may be the reason that I don't find it noisy. I'm also able to breathe as easily with it as I do with the AirSense.
I'm sorry that you're having such a hard time. Is it possible that your machine is defective?

I sure hope it isn't defective.
But I'll try the muffler. If it's still miserable I guess I'll have to contact the company and see if there's something wrong with it.
Thank you
