Hypoapneas scoring difference by machine

I'm quite sure I've read 'somewhere' that the various machines score hypoapneas differently.
Duration of 10 seconds or longer is the same, but the flow limitation is set at different thresholds 

Been trying to find that and now posting here, since a search of about 2 hours did not get me what i was looking for.

Good question, now if only I had a good answer. By various machines, is this various types or brands? What I'm meaning is comparing Respironics to ResMed brands, or is it CPAP to VAuto, ASV, etc.

yeah sorry, had my mind wrapped around ResMed vs Resperonics so much I forgot to write that....
Typical APAP or CPAP; i'm not into the advanced bi-level Vauto yet)
