I’m brand new and have a question
I have a Resmed AirSense11 and was wondering if anyone knows if the measurement for Events per hours includes the hypopnea events or just measures the apnea instructions?
Am also wondering if the machine helps with hypopnea events

Yes, AHI includes apneas and hypopneas and you can expect therapy to help with hypopneas.

The MyAir app is junk as far as understanding what is going on. Try OSCAR.

In answer to your question, the MyAir events include obstructive, central, unknown apneas, and hypopnea events. It says nothing about flow limitations,

welcome, boba. you should definitely download and install oscar. the data it provides is way more comprehensive than the myair "app".

gideon's signature has a link, plus other useful links to help you post screenshots, arrange data, etc. he (and many others here) are very knowledgeable in the reading of data, and can help you make sure you're getting the best therapy possible.

since you just got your machine, you likely have the obligatory settings: APAP, 4-20 pressure, ramp on, etc. those settings are practically useless.

get yourself OSCAR, record a few night's worth of data, then post the results here. you'll get plenty of help to optimize your settings.
