Still tired with Cpap
Hello
im currently diagnosed with UARS and im under treatment. My AHI is low and i never have oxygen dips. I have already been doing a CPAP titration and my pressure is fixed 8 and EPR 3. With these settings, my sleep study said my sleep was good and my UARS was treated. I have no problems sleeping with the mask on, nor do I take it off during the night. However, i still wake up tired every morning, If not even more tired with the CPAP on. I also seem to be waking up even more during the night, especially during the early morning after aprox. 5 hours of sleep. And im also dreaming a lot every night probably because i wake up so much in REM . . I have been using the CPAP for about 1 month on and off.
I am therefore wondering if the treatment really works or if i still have many arousals. One thing to notice is that i am very sensitive and i think the smallest airway resistance will wake me up. When i look at my Oscar data i see many small random spikes here and there on the "flow rate" graph and im not sure what they are. Maybe they are normal idk. Also, i think I either suffer from Tongue base collapse or maybe Palatal Prolapse. I have recordings of me sleeping before the CPAP where its very audible that my soft palate closes after inhaling and air goes out my mouth instead when exhaling.
Here is My data from this night. This is BTW the highest AHI ive ever had on CPAP
The 2 lower timeframe pictures is a screenshot of some of the random spikes that occur a lot i think. What to do?
