Incense
I've been burning incense in my room recently and only just realised this is probably bad for my CPAP machine...
I really don't want to contaminate it as maybe I will sell it one day (though it is already second-hand). Is it safe to burn incense in the same room? I would do this in the morning and only use my CPAP much later in the evening. I'm assuming though that it doesn't matter if it is on or not, it will absorb the smoke just from being in the same area.
I'm thinking of sealing it in a plastic bag each morning, then taking it out when needed. My room has reasonable ventilation so the air would be clear by then.
Does that sound like it would work?
RE: Incense
It is the residue from the burned incense that lingers in the air and forms a sticky substance on all exposed surfaces. Just like the tars and nicotine from smoking, this will coat a surface and will build up over time and be next to impossible to remove. If you need something to smell, try using an essential oil on a cotton ball.

RE: Incense
Honest question, why would one sell a cpap machine? Other than if one quits using it.

@Crimson Nape
Fair enough, but burning incense is quite a unique thing and I don't want to have to give it up.
@super7pilot
Well my hope is that I will get jaw surgery to fix my issues and will not need to use it anymore. It's not even that I want the money, I'd just feel bad about throwing it away. I hate waste lol.
