RE: Installing Oscar on Mac Pro
That's a security feature in your Mac! If you downloaded OSCAR from the link at the top of this forum then it is safe.
To get around the security warning, open a Finder window and go to your Downloads folder. Find the OSCAR file you downloaded (should be OSCAR-v1.0.1-macOS.dmg) right click the file, press the Option key, then select Open. A window should open that shows OSCAR.app. Now open a second Finder window (from the top menu bar on your Mac choose File>New Finder Window). You may have to rearrange the windows so you can see both. Now click & drag OSCAR.app to your Applications folder in the second window. You can now close the first window that has OSCAR.app. In the Finder window look in the Applications folder for the OSCAR.app you just dragged there. Right click again, press Option key, select Open. It may ask you if you are sure you want to open it, click OK. After this, Oscar will run without giving you that warning about not being from an identified developer. eplantz: the feature "allow from anywhere" has been removed from current OSX versions, but the Option key still works.

G'day Bigjeff. Welcome to Apnea Board.
On a 2011 computer the operating system might be superseded. OSCAR requires MacOSX 10.12 or later.

Yes, we can help interpret your data but it's always best if you can do something for yourself. (Teach a man to fish...)
There is a wiki article on interpreting the data here: http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...rpretation There are also bits & pieces of interpretation scattered throughout the OSCAR help system here: http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/OSCAR_Help |
