Is An AHI of Zero Even Possible?

Is An AHI of Zero Even Possible?
Last night I had a zero AHI. I've been below 1 plenty of time but never zero! Just wondering if it's possible something else happened to cause that, or, if it's really correct and I had a great night? Data attached.

Of course, it's possible, and everything looks great on your graphs!

Only you can answer if you had a great night. It's how you feel that matters.

I haven't seen an AHI of 0 for quite awhile. I would probably think something was wrong too. Rolleyes

Sleep-wise it seemed like any other night. Find myself fiddling with my nasal mask every once in awhile because I here a slight hiss and think its a big leak. But that's it. Just wanted to confirm there isn't something in the data that suggest a bigger problem that caused the zero reading.

Thanks for confirming Opal!!

I have a 0.0 AHI about once or twice a year. If it keeps happening every night then I'd suspect something with the machine.

And by the way, this is not of any clinical significance. If you stop breathing for 9 seconds it doesn't count as an event. One more second, though, and it would be an event. AHI is of statistical importance only. You have to look at trends, not just one night, to conclude anything meaningful.

Thanks for that additional explanation and perspective. I was unaware of the ten second rule.
