Your problem is auto start. Turn it OFF and use the button on top of the machine.
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed  Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing

Your problem is not no breath, it is no data. Auto-Start will often cause that.
