JohnnyHotdog - Therapy Help

RE: JohnnyHotdog - Therapy Help
JohnnyHotdog,

I've merged three of your threads as they all relate to your Cpap journey.  Please, going forward... use this thread for all therapy related questions and chart postings.

You look like you're making some progress, but finding the right mask is always a challenge.  You definitely need to stick with a full face mask or a hybrid type mask, or you can resort to using mouth tape.  That can be a challenge too.

I believe you could use more EPR/PS (ResMed), but since you're using a Respironics machine, it can be tricky to optimize your therapy.  There're slower to react to apnea.  What Flex setting are you using?

The only thing you can do to clean up your apnea is to raise the minimum pressure again, although that could result in even more leaking.

Note: The leaking isn't bad enough to compromise therapy, but can cause many arousals which results in how you feel the next day.
