RE: CPAP titration from previous ASV user
Your flow limits are high. Does the CPAP mode offer an EPR option? Also, please, please, use the F12 key or for a Mac, the Fn+F12 key combo, to take a screenshot. Your calendar is eating valuable real estate of important information.

ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV in CPAP will offer only static single pressure. Example, you set 12, you get 12, period.
What are the issues with ASV that aren't to your satisfaction? My opinion if you're issued ASV, that's what you should stick with. So what was the progress on the other therapy thread?

PS where are the results that you were mentioning a sleep study with no Central Apnea? Certainly Apnea will be a bit different each sleep study, it's a one night snapshot. Even Central Apnea can fluctuate up, down, none to a lot. I saw results on one of the other threads where lots of CA were in the sleep study, 146 or so.
Best for the Board if the 3 threads were together in my opinion. Disjointed therapy discussions are hard to follow.

RE: CPAP titration from previous ASV user
I'll keep everything on this thread. I was unsure how to go about it, so thanks for letting me know.
TLDR: I think ASV isn't giving me restful sleep like CPAP could. From my last study I do not have central apneas present anymore and my OSA has greatly decreased. CPAP seems appropriate for me at this time. Wanting to see if I can just use the CPAP on my ASV machine or should buy a new machine.
The original sleep study took place in January 2021. During this time I was exhausted all the time and taking a medication I believe to have caused the central apneas. Since 2022, I've stopped that medication and lost a good amount of weight. I haven't experienced even close to the same levels of tiredness even without using the machine for a night or two. The newer study that took place last winter plus the anecdote about not feeling anywhere near the levels of tiredness, lead me to believe I'm not experiencing central apneas in such a large quantity or any at all, per the study results. The ASV machine I believe isn't helping me to truly rest like I need. I think the sudden pressure changes aren't appropriate for my current sleep apnea and could be causing me to slightly wake up. I might bite the bullet and buy a normal CPAP but I just wanted to test with this machine I already own.
My current sleep doctor spoke to me about possibly switching to CPAP (albeit this was months ago and she hasn't titrated me on a CPAP). I would rather avoid another titration as my grade 4 (basically touching awake and pushed together when asleep) tonsils are getting removed in a few months anyway, and I will get a sleep study to see if I am cured of sleep apnea at that time. If that study also doesn't show central and an AHI of under 5 then I will not be using any pap therapy.

I understand about the different thread. Don't beat yourself up about it.
Dave sounds grumpy sometimes, but I'm consistent, treating all the same.
So this post

Oct '23, this represents the study in '21 correct? Certainly there's CA at 146.
If me, being removed from ASV, I'd go for ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto if you truly don't need Central Apnea treatment.
Another Titration, nah. The doctor guess with the one night snapshot mostly fails to get it right. Avoid it as best you can. You can self titrate with use and OSCAR. Free!
