Looking for Help

RE: Looking for Help
Well I think there is an issue with those. The main one being max Ti and possible cycle. i think Rise time and cycle explains the inverted V shape of your mask pressure.
What was the Rise time, That you had in S mode? I think your machine has it? In auto it is preset to 300 and the same as APAP I think? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think it's 200 or 250ms

I'd leave Ti min at 0.3 your median time is 1.6, and there is no indication at this stage that you are retriggering short breaths.
I would change the max to 2.7, to the default rate for your resp per min of just under 12. You aren't on a Timed mode. I would check with the DME and DR,
see page 43

trigger is individual, does the machine seem in time with your starting a breath, You aren't starting to breathe and waiting for the machine to trigger. Or that the machine is too sensitive and is triggering on a pause or moving your jaw.
page 42

cycle of high, is it holds the pressure for a short time, then exhales, you would normally have a fast rise time to compensate. Your chart shows a slow rise time. If you don't have COPD and there is no indicators that you do, I'd go to the default medium, again check with your doctor

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.

Okay thanks!  Making those changes this evening.  It looks as though I don’t have any ability to change rise time in S mode or VAuto mode.

It was only a guess and what I thought was, that you had rise time in S. You would then have the default time of 300ms? If someone could correct me if I'm wrong.

RE: Looking for Help
Hey everyone.  Machine is now on BiPAP VAuto with EXPmin set at 8 and INSPmax set at 20.  Pressure support is set at 5, TImin is .3, TImax is 2.5.  Trigger and Cycle are both set to medium.  I slept with these settings last night with an AHI of around 1.0.

Posing several screenshots at various times throughout the night.  Please let me know if anyone has any additional suggestions or comments on the results.  Feeling upon waking was still not well.  Headache/fatigue.

Thanks again for the help!

A few more screenshots.

Based on your symptoms run a SPI2 meter overnight. This is to eliminate desats as an issue.
