Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
RE: Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
Your CPAP clock is about 2-1/2 days fast. The easiest way to reset it is going to be the following steps below. If your data is being monitored by a DME Or doctor's office this is going to delete all old data, so let them know you are going to delete data and reset the date and time.
1. backup your SD card to your computer hard drive (just copy all files and folders from the rood directory to a folder on your computer).
2. Delete the data on the SD card or quick format
3. Enter the clinical menu and scroll down to the Configuration section. Erase Data. This deletes all patient data on the CPAP.
4. Reset Date
5. Reset Time
6. Exit clinical menu
7. Insert SD card. You're done

RE: Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
Done! Back to the right date and time. Thanks so much!  I did notify the DME company and they were fine with it, said they have their own backup. I transferred the SD card data to hard drive on pc but I couldn't erase it. It said it was "write protected" and wouldn't do it. Don't know what that means, I didn't put a password on it.  But that's ok, I'll just get a new one and in the meantime have some old ones around with some space on it so will use those and also try to erase them first. I did use another SD card last night and Oscar recorded the data for 3/16 so should I go ahead and purge that day now too?

I started with the nasal mask but around 5 AM woke up feeling uncomfortable, like air hungry so put on the F30, took a lot of deep breaths and fell into a peaceful sleep for a couple of hours. The good thing about that mask is it covers the mouth but also the nose so maybe when I'm comfortably sleeping I start nose breathing. The chart looks really strange to me.  It's missing around 3 hours recording when I'm pretty sure the machine was on, I was up a lot but for short periods, not that long in one stretch. Is that why it looks so fragmented? My breath forms look really small with the nasal in the beginning and then with the mask they get big for a short time then back to  small again.  Wondering if I should keep pursuing the nasal, maybe my anatomy is just wrong for it? I do mouth breathe a lot during the day too. Feel like I was doing so much better before with the face mask. Or is it just the adjustment phase with varying results as you said. Am I doing ok? Pls let me know what you think when you have a chance.

Thanks again for all your help and  getting that big mess sorted out and back on track.

On Your Oscar chart, let's set the Y-axis for flow rate to -100 to +100 so it doesn't get shrunk so badly. Today is March 14, so you will need to purge data in Oscar for any date in the future like your last chart, or you will be unable to import new sessions until the CPAP catches up. Just purge any date from 3/14 forward.

Will do. Thanks
RE: Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
The y axis is already set at that on flow rate- I think someone had me change it awhile back.
RE: Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
Why is it so shrunken all of a sudden?
RE: Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
I don't know. The last chart had limits of +180 -180 Just be sure the y-axis over ride is checked and the limits are at 100.

I already purged last night so looked on last chart on Oscar on 3/10. On flow rate it is set to override -100 100. No positive sign, it disappears after I enter it. Is there  somewhere else to change it? Where did you see the  +180 -180?

RE: Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
Where is it on the chart, don’t know where to even look for it. But you  know what- I re-imported last night’s chart to Oscar and the y axis was on -100 +100 but it said autofit not override! So maybe it got changed along the way- so good news, changed it back to override. Thanks, will post tonight’s chart in AM.
