Lost data?
I've been using the ResMed A10 for years, converted to A11 about six months ago. A short time after starting to use the A11, i removed the SDcard and used OSCAR to inspect it. Lots of interesting data and graphs! I was very happy.
I removed the card again a couple of days ago and again used OSCAR. The program told me that the last time I had used the A11 was about the time I had previouslly used OSCAR! Apparently, no data was recorded for the last few months though all the old data seemed to still be there. This will be a problem on my next visit to the doctor.
I've put the card back into the machine but I am not confident that it is properly working. Is there anything I need to do to be sure? Of course, I can try OSCAR again but don't want to cause any further trouble.
I am computer savvy and can easily reformat the card completely if that would help. I *think* the card only records the most recent data, I think about the last month. So if I were to do that at least a month before my next doctor visit, all appropriate data should be there. Of if there is some data flag on the card that indicates OSCAR was used that I can reset, maybe that would help.
RE: Lost data?
All of your sessions are on the card IF the card was in the cpap machine while you were sleeping. Do check that you did not move the lock switch on th e card or nothing will be recorded.
RE: Lost data?
The card was certainly unlocked while in the machine. It was locked while using OSCAR.
If the data is on the card, why doesn't OSCAR show it? Why does OSCAR say the most recent data was a long time ago?

RE: Lost data?
are you're sure the data is there? the datalog subdirectories with recent dates have data?
if the data exists try to create a new profile and import again, or purge a day of data (data/advanced) to try and re-import it.
RE: Lost data?
I took the card out of the machine and mounted it as a normal filesystem. Exploring the files, I see log files for every day up to and including today. After unmounting it and starting OSCAR, OSCAR seems to be reading the data, updating the screen about every 5% of data read. But I can't find the data it reads. Nothing in my OSCAR directory is new and OSCAR reports, "The last time you used your ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet... was 75 days ago (on Wednesday, May 8, 2024)".
Clearly there are one or more aspects of OSCAR that I don't understand...
RE: Lost data?
Have you tried turning off the "Import without asking for confirmation" in the Preferences/Import tab, and then specifying the SD card again when you try importing the data? If that doesn't work, then try using a new SD card to see if yours is going bad.
