another question-cheyne-stoke breathing?
I just got back from picking up the equipment for another level three sleep study and the Respiratory therapist asked how I have been doing in the last few days(I was just there on Thursday). I said I felt I wasn't doing that great with the CPAP so she printed out a reading and seemed quite shocked. She said that I showed periods of cheyne-stoke breathing which were highlighted in green on the paper. She said she was sending it off to her head office to get a second opinion. She said this wasn't typical. I left feeling uneasy. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it pretty common? How is it treated?
