Major weight loss, still need CPAP?

Major weight loss, still need CPAP?
Over the last 10 months I've lost 80 lbs. My average score is now usually <0.2 events/hr.  I have tried going without the CPAP for several days at a time with no noticeable effect. Do I need a new sleep study or is there information available on Oscar for my Resmed Airsense 10 that would tell me I can go without CPAP?

Are you saying that when you don't wear CPAP now you feel the same as when you do?

You could turn the pressure to minimum and then we could review your data. That could give us an idea of whether you need continued therapy or not.

You could also use a pulse oximeter.

I know that I lost 110 and still needed the cpap.  All of us is different and maybe you don't but without a sleep study all we could say is at min number you had x amount of apnea and that is it.  Not you don't need it but at min 4 max 4 could be tried and see what it shows... Again it will have therapy of 4 and when that is taken away you might still have apnea.  A sleep study would be the only way.

The pulse oximeter suggestion is worth trying. I have a Wellue ring (possibly marketed as Lookee in the US) - it correlates very accurately with events recorded on Oscar. I think they cost around $150.
