[Equipment] Resmed S9 SD card no longer works

Resmed S9 SD card no longer works
I love my Resmed S9 but it will no longer read, record or recognize the SD card.  I've tried off the shelf new cards and even got one from Resmed.  I've tried formatting them on the machine and on a computer, but nothing works.  Has anyone had this problem and been able to solve the issue?  Thanks.

RE: Resmed S9 SD card no longer works
What you are describing sounds like has worn out.  Continued insertion and removal of the SD card wears on the contacts and the latch spring mechanism causing failure.  I am uncertain if the card reader is a replaceable item.  I did find this old thread that may help.  Start reading down from the point I am providing.

A lot of us use a Toshiba FlashAir wireless SD card to prevent this problem, as well as, making data downloads easier.

I hope this may help.

Thanks Crimson Nape.  I've already tried an off the shelf new card and also a new one provided by Resmed.  No luck with either one.  I guess it must be an internal problem.  I'll see if the thread you provided offers any further clues.

Not sure if the Toshiba Flashair would work if there is an internal problem.

If it's your card slot, then the FlashAir wouldn't work. It is just an SD card with wireless capabilities.
