Missing Datalog info - bad SD card or something else?
We have data missing from our SD card. The last two days (5/29 & 5/30) only show the AHI, usage, and session times in Oscar. The datalog folders for those days are empty. Even weirder every datalog folder from 5/7/23 to present are empty, but pre-5/7/23 datalog folder have data. The data must have been in there in real time for 5/28 and earlier because it has been shown properly in Oscar. My mom transfers the data from the SD card to a google drive folder via her Window 11 laptop. I download the folders to my hard drive, unzip them and then import the virtual SD card to my dad's profile in Oscar.
Ideas?

The common cause is the card was not in the CPAP over night so the detailed data never got recorded. The summary data always stores internally to the CPAP and is copied to the SD card when it is present.
If this is the case the detailed data cannot be recovered

Thank you, Gideon. It turned out to a glitch in our data transfer between states. My mom tried the upload again and we have all the data. It must have failed to finish uploading to Google drive both yesterday and today. It is tedious waiting for it to complete, but it is a blessing because I can see/help with my dad's treatment long distance. We did offload and store the pre-March 2023 data to make it a bit quicker.
Could she just upload the newest day(s) Datalog folders and I add them to my virtual SD card? What other files change with each session? it is likely to be a tad too complicated for my mom, but might be worth a try.

What computer OS is your mom using? If she creates the SD cards data on the Google Drive, then she could use a rsync or derivative app to only upload the new and modified files. This way, you are not duplicating data transfer, thus reducing bandwidth. You could then do the same thing to update your SD directory. You will not be able to zip the data this way, but it will be moving a lots less data.

In addition to the new day's DATALOG data, the STR.edf file is also updated every day.
As Red points out, something like rsync copying only the changed files is the best way to minimize the amount of data transferred.
