More leaks? Less AHI? New mask..help?

RE: More leaks? Less AHI? New mask..help?
You could try it, I can't and won't say you should or must. I've been very successful in my limited usage and it's comfortable for a bigger mask. All full face masks are bigger than pillows or nasal ones.

However I'll say this, if you like the Evora's comfort, you'll like that on this one, with the caveat that it's a different type. If you choose to get it, post it and I'll personally tell you the detailed adjustment steps I take on my Vitera. I can't guarantee results but if you're up to it, maybe it's a good idea to try it.

Absolutely OK. Review their fit guide. I was introduced a few years ago to the Simplus, the previous model in a small cushion and it wasn't well suited but medium is perfect for me. Same fit size as Vitera for me.

Theyt are sending me a Vitera tomorrow. Hopefully it gets my leak rates down and i feel better. Still confused at how my AHI could be .1 with my massive leaks but hopefully it works.

Anyone had any experience with the masks that position the tube on top of the head and/or swivel? Are those more comfortable for sleeping?

I tried one mask that had the tube located at the top of the head. I hated it! The noise of the air rushing through the air canals on either side of my ears was extremely annoying. I describe it like having a jet engine running on either side of you. Based off of how many have them listed, evidently I'm in the minority of this.

If you are in the minority...I'm right there with you.

I also tried a mask with the hose at the top of my head.  I just didn't like the "feel" of that hose at the top of my head, and the sound of the air flow through the tubes at the side of my face was a bit much. Some folk really like those masks, so take my comment with a grain of salt...

No thanks!

I've got the ResMed twins N30i and P30i from getting the nasal and swapping in the pillows cushions. They're OK comfort wise, but mouth leaks were an issue. I quit those and went back to full face. Noise didn't bother me as tinnitus masks about 70dB worth.
