[CPAP] CPAP Not Helping

RE: CPAP Not Helping

When I use softpap/EPR, I also get a lot of flow limitations and RERAS.

Try and set softpap to "off" for one night, it helped me a lot with RERAS and flow limitations. If still no change, then also try and change to CPAP fixed pressure of 10 and still keep softpap/EPR "off".

If you prefer APAP, I would raise minimum to 7 and max to 13. You are running in Dynamic mode, which can cause you to wake more up, as the machine reacts quicker/shoots pressure up than in standard mode.
If you feel you wake up because of pressure changes, then change to "standard" mode, which is more gentle and doesn't react as quick in changes.

Make sure you dont have any leaks, as small leaks can have a major influence. Sleep on your side.
Okay, thank you. I will try to disable softPAP and increase my pressure.

I ask because the earlier hours look pretty good.  So it'd be helpful to know what created the trouble during those last two hours.  At the moment, I'm more interested in that than in suggesting additional tweaks to your settings.
Not really sure. I might have been partially awake but not really aware of it. I'm a light sleeper and any noise will wake me up.
I was probably also sleeping on my back, since that is the position that feels most comfortable for me, even though I try to avoid it.

Okay, thank you. I will try raising my pressure.

Okay, thanks. I will try raising my pressure.

A lot of you recommended that I raise my pressure, so I will do that.
I might try a min of 7 and max of 15 for a few days and then update you guys with the new Oscar data.

Also worth mentioning:
I use a full-face mask and it leaks air on the front part of the mask - it leaks more under high pressures(not the vent, but along the silicone seal, in different directions)
I'm not sure if that is normal? It's not a crazy amount of leak but I can definitely feel air shooting out on a few parts of the mask.

Also, if it might help with finding the right therapy settings for me:

My nasal breathing is terrible, that is why I use a full face mask. I had septoplasty, didn't help. I had DISE, they told me the problem was my palate(too soft), it drops into my throat and chokes me during the night. On top of it, my nose doesn't work. The nasal conchas are swollen and the septum is still deviated. This probably makes the situation 10x worse.

Anyways, I will try the new settings and I will update you guys in a few days. Thanks everyone.
