New Dreamstation Go v. Old Dreamstation Do -- Different
I want to report a curious finding. I purchased a Dreamstation Go in July 2017 and just purchased another Dreamstation Go this week in order to make traveling between places easier. I liked the old Go so much I used the Go not only for travel but also instead of a ResMed S9 at home.
My discovery is that I like the new Go even more: better software; much quieter. I know the software is somewhat different -- 1.0.0 versus 1.1.7 -- and offers new information screens but what explains the improvement in noise level?
I did not especially want or really expect any difference in Go noise performance, so I would discount any cognitive dissonance or placebo effect.
What has Philips done? New internal mechanisms? A new algorithm? Machine to machine variation? The old Go's age?
Does anyone have an empirical answer about the new Go or has anyone had a similar or dissimilar experience?
Thanks.
