New Machine-AI went from <5 to 32 HELP
On my My AirCurve10 my AI was less than 5. Last night on my NEW AirCurve11 it was 32.7 total, 0,8 OB and 20.4 CA.  The only thing different is they set it up in S Mode. My AC 10 was set up VAUTO Mode. could that be the problem? I called my machine provider. They pulled my data. It showed a leak of 41 LPM and they say that is the reason. I shot down all the reasons why such a leak. i will try again tonight.

If I change settings to VAUTO mode will insurance not pay for my machine?? I have to see my Dr with-in 90 days to get Medicare to pay for my machine

RE: New Machine-AI went from <5 to 32 HELP
The VAuto mode will very likely be better, as it can Auto adjust between the Min and Max ranges. S mode does no adjusting, it'll just sit there up down up down between 2 numbers. S for stupid if you ask me.

If you wish, change it back to VAuto. The insurance company will do nothing about you changing it. They're only interested in two things, 1. Did you use the machine the required time for compliance, and 2. Did you tell the doctor there's noticeable benefits in using it by feeling like you're sleeping better. This will be that visit within 90 days.

Bonus, look on the Apnea Board pages for OSCAR, is a free and safe report tool. Please download it. What you'll do with OSCAR charts is you'll need an SD card in the left slot on your VAuto to store the detailed sleep data which gets added every time you use the VAuto. After a night's use, pop the SD out and put it in you PC card reader for OSCAR to find and populate the charts. You'll be able to review this yourself, and pushing F12 takes screenshots that may be used in the New Attachment section right below the post text box. This allows members to see the chart and comment with suggested edits for better personalized therapy.
