[News] ResMed's new SleepSeeker online software

RE: ResMed's new SleepSeeker online software
I got a packet today from ResMed, suggesting that I log onto a certain website in order to join their online community and acquire this software. Not sure why I got this "Wake Up to Sleep Program" packet now, as I've had my S9 since January 2011. The packet offers a $50 "bribe" to get you to sign-up to their online community. Nice try, ResMed!!

Theirs would be ... the answer for most questions something like ... see your provider, so you come back right here for the answers Edit ... its just a lip service

RE: ResMed's new SleepSeeker online software
I installed this program. Like a number of others it would not recognize the SD card initially. But once I shutdown the computer and turned it back on it did. The program itself is pretty dumbed down compared to Resscan or Sleepyhead. But it runs and is kind of cute. So if you need cute, this could be a nice program.
REMEMBER to lock your sd card before you stick it in your computer, especially if you are running Windows 8.1. Otherwise the ResMed will erase the card when you poke it back in the machine.

Yep - SleepSeeker is more of a marketing ploy and not a real solution for patients who wish to seriously monitor their CPAP therapy effectiveness. Just as an FYI for Philips-Respironics machine owners, probably the best option for real data-analysis and reporting is either SleepyHead (HERE) or EncoreBasic (HERE).
