No SD data from AirSense 11
The last 2 nights I have not gotten any data written to my SD card other than an empty folder with the date. The card is unlocked, I always watch the machine when I load the SD card to make sure it doesn't get a read error, and when I end the CPAP session, I see the blinking blue lights indicating that it's writing to the card. Yet all I get is an empty folder.
I just tried a different card entirely - formatted it and used the machine for a short session. It created all the basic files and an empty folder "20231211". Today is the 12th, shortly before 9am, but I don't know when the machine decides it's a new day.
Any ideas on what's going on?
RE: No SD data from AirSense 11
ResMed days are noon to noon. Are you using smart start/stop or starting/ending the session with the button?
The machine writes data throughout the night, then when you end the session by hitting the button it finishes the session. Gideon or other OSCAR guru can give the specifics.

To supply some information
Resmed starts a new day at noon local time.
Regarding writing to the card. using my Airsense 11, I can take a nap at 1pm, eject the card a few minutes later and read all the data. I can then put the card back in and go to bed at 10 pm, get up at 6am (the next day). When I read the card at 10 am, ALL the data is there including the 1pm nap and the 10 pm to 6am session.
I suspect that if I took a nap from 11:00 am to 1pm, that data may show up split over two days (but I've never tried it)
Hopefully the EDF files are being written to your SD card (you can check this using file explorer). There should be at least four files for each day.
If the EDF files are on the SD, now check to see if they have been copied to your computer in your Oscar_data folder.
RE: No SD data from AirSense 11
The EDF files are NOT being written to the SD card. That's the problem - there are folders for 12/10 and 12/11 but they are empty. On both cards - the one I used the last 2 nights, as well as the one I used for a "nap" this morning.
Thanks for the confirmation of the "new day" time.
RE: No SD data from AirSense 11
One of the most important things I learned in my career as a software engineer: When in doubt, reboot.
I unplugged the CPAP machine, waited 15 seconds and plugged it back in. Then I did another 15 minute "nap". This time the data wrote to the SD card, so I guess the machine must have gotten into some weird state.
(Oh, and I had forgotten to reply previously that I do a manual start/stop with the button, not the "smart" start/stop.)

Back to the good Mr. Holmes’ statement about the impossible and improbable…
Well done! Sometimes the bloody obvious is staring us in the face.
