RE: No reports after new S9 model

I unplugged the S9 and time and date returned to 00:00h Jan 1 2008. Looks like it is a battery problem. I set time and date again and will let S9 plugged until tomorrow to see if battery is really dead. Anyway, this machine is brand new as I bought it from a dealer last June 14th. If tomorrow morning when I unplug S9, time and date get back to the past I will return it to the dealer.
Thank you again. Will give you notice tomorrow.
This morning (in Rio) I went to the dealer and he asked me to show what was happening as he could not believe it could happen. After some tests he did, he realized that the problem could only be a dead battery as I said (or manufacture defect). He lent me another S9 of his shop to have time to send the defective S9 to the local manufacturer shop to fix it as he is a dealer only.
What I could understand is that the brand new S9 Elite I bought was there unused since 2008 what can explain why the rechargeable battery died for having never been used.
I proposed then not to have my new machine (1 week old) refurbished and to buy a new S10. Could get a good price as the guy was quite embarrassed with the situation.
Thank you again so much for your attention and support.
