OSCAR 1.2.0 & ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto

See where it says CombineCloseSessions(0) ? That mean no combining of sessions with a short gap. Which isn't strictly true; gaps less that about two minutes will not create a new session in the sessions list, although you will see the gap in the flow and pressure graphs. Any gap of about three minutes or more will create a new session.

Can you tell me where that is in OSCAR? I can't seem to find it.

That's in ForceResmedPrefs, which I display in post #6. Once a ResMed machine is detected, that choice is no longer displayed in the Preferences dialogue. If You create a new Profile, and go to Preferences and say No to Will you be using a ResMed machine?, you will see the choices that the ResMed loader does not allow.

And where is "ForceResmedPrefs"? Again apologies, I need a step-by-step guide with this tech stuff I'm just unfamiliar with navigating.

ForceResmedPrefs is a routine in the OSCAR source code.

You can't change it; it is required to accommodate the structure of the ResMed data present on the SD card.

Tried to set up a new profile and am totally lost. Is this supposed to fix the problem with the double recordings?? Like I said, need a step-by-step of what to do here. Thanks.

Ok, second try, again - I went ahead and created a new profile (see previous post), however there is no "Preferences" option.

Please know that I'm on the macOS OSCAR version if that makes a difference.

You mean that under the menu item File (at the top left) there isn't a Preferences option?

On a Mac, the Preferences menu item is located under the OSCAR menu (i.e. the menu provided by the system for the application). You can also access Preferences with the keyboard shortcut ⌘-, (command key with comma) when OSCAR is the active application.
