- When I import the new data from the SD card of the new CPAP into both ResScan and OSCAR will I maintain my existing data?
- Can I run reports on all my data (new and old CPAPs)?
- Can I run reports on just the data linked to a specific CPAP?

Getting new CPAP machine and want to retain data from old CPAPs in OSCAR and ResScan
I just about to get a new ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset CPAP to replace my existing one (same model with problems).

I changed from a Dreamstation to a ResMed. I did not lose any of the old data on OSCAR AND I have almost 6 years. I ca look and print all data. I have no experience with the other program.

RE: Getting new CPAP machine and want to retain data from old CPAPs in OSCAR and ResScan
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have any thought of using the old machine as a backup, you must use a new SD card for the new machine. Each machine will write an identification file on the card, and it always uses the same name, so only one machine can use each SD card.

RE: Getting new CPAP machine and want to retain data from old CPAPs in OSCAR and ResScan
Thanks very much for the updates and I am looking forward to getting my new machine and adding a new profile. If I don't use ResScan any more I am fine as OSCAR is much easier to use and more helpful.

RE: Getting new CPAP machine and want to retain data from old CPAPs in OSCAR and ResScan
Thanks everyone.
GuyScharf I did create a new OSCAR profile but realized that if I import into my existing profile I can still select custom dates in the "Overview" tab to select reports to compare results for each CPAP. In ResScan you can import data from multiple CPAPs and see all the data.
