OSCAR Event Flag colours and types
fficulties are experienced when changes are made to Event Flag Colours and Types.
These changes are made to improve Event Displays and Prints.
The main problems are: Pressure Pulse (PP) and RERA (RE).
The Events Settings are accessed by: File....Preferences.....Events.
The defaults for RE are Pale Yellow and Flag Type Flag.
The defaults for PP are Maroon and Flag Type Minor Flag.
Colour Changes are achieved by clicking on the unwanted colour and selection from a Drop Down List and is set to Orange / Brown for RE and Violet for PP.
Flag Type Changes are achieved by double clicking on the unwanted Flag Type and selection from a Drop Down List and set to Flag.
The only Flag Type changed is PP from Minor Flag to Flag.
To see the outcome of these changes, select Daily and select the Event Flag graph and the Flow Rate graph.
Check that the Daily View Events indicate PP's and RE's and ascertain that these are shown on the Events Graph. (It may be necessary to amend the Colours).
Do a Screenshot when satisfied for next day reference!
Exit from OSCAR.

The PP Flag Type previously changed have reverted to a MINOR FLAG and are displayed in the TOP OF THE FLOW RATE Graph.
How can Changes be made to "stick"?
