Why is it advised to put minimum pressure at 95 percentile?
Hi everyone,
I keep on noticing that the advice is to put the minimum pressure at 95% from a previous test.
Why 95%?
When I look at some of my nights, it looks like some of my most peaceful sleep is around my median pressure. So shouldn't the ideal minimum lay somewhere in that top 50%?

When you set your minimum to the median pressure, there will be quite some time (50% or so) when the instrument operates above it. It means frequent pressure adjustments. Before each of these adjustments, you have some flow limitation that disturbs your sleep. Usually, better sleep can be achieved at a higher pressure than the median.

Thanks for the reply. In my case I have quite the leak rate, so probably best to handle the leaks before focusing on the rest.
