Oscar File Export Sessions

Oscar File Export Sessions
With the new version, I was hoping the issue with statistics session data export would be fixed.

After installing the new version and adding my last sessions, the FL data exported is still not the same as the data shown in Oscar Daily View.

I have reported this issue in the past.

I am still hoping it will be fixed......

RE: Oscar File Export Sessions
I'm wondering if I'm the only one concerned with this issue.

I have noted the FL values for a total of 525 sleep sessions.
The average difference between the FL 95% values exported and the values shown on Oscar's Daily View is 0.11.
The maximum difference is 0.79 and the minimum is -0.59.

Should I just move on and forget about this?

Could it be rounding errors? The only thing I have to compare is my 99.5% Flow Limit (Yes, I'm bragging!). The Daily screen lists it as, ".02", but the CSV export lists it as, "0.0161356". Out of curiosity, does this difference affect your therapy routine?

With the large differences I have noted, it can not be rounding errors.

I am not certain.
I am unclear which FL values I should consider.

From past conversations on the FL, I was told a value of 0.1 or below should be good.

Oscar Statistics shows my overall FL 95% value is 0.21.

Mathematical average FL 95% exported data = 0.24
Mathematical average FL 95% screen data = 0.13

If the Screen values are good, then I would subtract an average value of 0.11 from the exported data to get a more precise reading.
But that value will not correspond to Oscar Statistics.

How I feel since January using the BiPAP is not easy to say.
I guess there were some improvements in my sleep because I have more longer sessions.
I am probably less tired during daytime.
Compared to before, I have to admit there are some improvements.

Can I do better is another question that the discrepancies with FL readings have me asking.

I did a spot check on my  99.5% Flow Limit.  There are differences between Exported and Screen. There also I do not think they are rounding errors.

I believe it may be a compounded rounding problem.
The detailed data is likely rounded at some point, and I'm sure the daily is as well.

We have identified different rounding errors on different parameters in the past, though I don't recall FL ever being questioned.

I have 97 sessions where the screen values for FL 95 are = 0
For those, the exported data are not 0.

That contradicts the idea of a rounding problem?????

Edited ==>  Furthermore, the precision of Oscar is 2 digits.  If rounding yields one digit, something is definitely wrong.

RE: Oscar File Export Sessions
Your FL 95 of zero could be an actual .0049999 or lower in the CSV file. Are you comparing your Daily screen's results to the same day's data exported, and not a range of days? I just want to see if I can duplicate the problem and don't want to add anything to the fire.

The precision of all data exported to csv is 2 digits (one hundredth) only.

For September 2nd, these are the values I have:

95% Flow Limit. exported to csv = 0.22
95% Flow Limitation in Oscar Statistic = 0.07 (For Sat Sep 2 2023 - Sat Sep 2 2023)
Flow Limit. 95% in Oscar Daily view = 0.07 (For Sat Sep 2 2023) (I had only one session on that date)

I think that is a program error, not a rounding glitch.

100% certain.

H-m-m-m-m!  My CSV file was reporting decimal values to 7 places.  That's why I listed the, "0.0161356" in my previous post.

EDIT: That is the only reported parameter going 7 places. Everything else is 2 places. What is your computer's O/S? I'm trying to think of any possibility.
