Oscar kills the Ubuntu VM it is running in [solved: bug in VirtualBox, not OSCAR]
Hi all!
I've been running Oscar in an Ubuntu (18.04) VM for a few months, where it has run great. until this week.
t'other day I updated Oscar's data (after a gap of several weeks). it updated fine, but as soon as I click on one of the tabs to show my data (any of them) the Ubuntu VM disappears and Virtualbox shows it as aborted.
I've perused system logs on the VM OS but can't 'find anything that I can recognize as being related.

- Does anyone on the Oscar team want to do any troubleshooting?
- would a recovery attempt that included wiping all the data then re-importing be worth trying?
- Other suggestions?
