RE: Other than not sleeping well, I have no idea what I'm doing
Your charts are looking good!
I would ride for a week with the 7-11 setting and make sure you can tolerate the pressure.
You are still showing a few clusters of Obstructive events so for the next week after this
let's bump your pressure up to 8 - 12 and get you used to that.
Still working on slowly letting you adapt to the pressure.
Some nights you might start waking up and wondering if it's turned on and working.
that means you've adapted!
Keep up the good work and soon you'll be knocking out all those obstructive events and you can start sleeping
better.

RE: Other than not sleeping well, I have no idea what I'm doing
Question regarding the event flags - if I mouse over the various event flags, they're coming up with a number in brackets. The numbers are not always the same, even in the same event line - for example, I've got OA's numbered ten and then fifteen. What does that number relate to? Is that a severity rating?
Better yet - I've looked for documentation on how to understand the numbers/charts presented by Sleepyhead. I've found what the different line items stand for, but not a real explanation of what they are - is there something out there where I can read and understand better what's going on while I sleep?
RE: Other than not sleeping well, I have no idea what I'm doing
The numbers are time in apnea. Generally 10 seconds is a minimum time to score an apnea, but I have seen some CA events with lower times noted.
The reason I asked about sleep position was physical causes for the apnea clusters before the break. The remaining likely occurrence is sleep stage, most likely REM sleep that often further relaxes the airway. Not suggesting any changes at this point, but you may need higher pressure for those events. I'd focus on comfort and leak prevention first.
RE: Other than not sleeping well, I have no idea what I'm doing
You could be describing my path for CPAP. I do not have mine fine tuned yet, but I no longer rip it off, but I still do need a break and have not figured out why.
I am at 8-14, EPR 3, humidity 1, temperature 67. Some like high humidity, that makes me feel like I am not breathing and I don't like warm air. I have the auto feature on that tries to detect when I am asleep and then ramps up, this gives me a starting pressure of 5.8. The default was 4 and way too low, 5 still too low, 6 too high, set it to 5.6 and then bumped to 5.8. I am getting 7-9 hours a night with 2-3 times getting out of bed so I can take a break from the system.

Good progress PoolQ. Keep it up.

One of these days, I'll be there - thanks for the inspiration!!
