Please help with treatment review
RE: Please help with treatment review
I decided to try a mask I bought recently. ResMed N30i. Had a power nap. AHI=24.4

I have a brand new iMac. I haven't used OSCAR on it. Clicked on the OSCAR symbol. The new iMac told me I needed to download Rosetta....

Nah. I'll put my SD card back in my APAP machine.

I tried using Oscar. I replaced my 2010 iMac with a brand new one. Setting it up was a terrible experience. I have an Oscar icon. It doesn’t work. So I can’t post a screenshot.

Better night.
ResMed N20i. Knightsbridge Dual Band. No pillow. 2.2=AHI. Woke up several times though. Not a good neights sleep. I felt better after a 2 hour nap when my AHI was 26.0! With ResMed N30i and nothing else.

RE: Please help with treatment review
My Durable Medical Equipment supplier sold out. It's Sleep Management Group.

That's terrible. They no longer loan out trial masks. I have to buy a mask ($250 to $325 Canadian plus 13 % sales tax) I can return the mask for 30 days, but there's no cash refund.

I've bought about 25 masks from them over the last 10 years. Frankly, the only reason for continuing to do business is I don't need a prescription to buy a mask. Oh, I don't need a prescription to buy a mask from Amazon. However, I'm concerned that their masks/equipment may made by someone other than F&P, ResMed or Respironics; or it may be used equipment that has been returned...

I'd truly appreciate help.

Thanks

RE: Please help with treatment review
Last night I rushed down the hall in a hurry about 2:00 am. Usual reason

Back, I didn't have the heart to put my ResMed N20i on and then my Larry's special. knightsbridge dual band cap. After all, my mask strap marks last about 5 hours; maybe longer.

I got out my F&P Evora Full full face mask. That's all. I had to turn the light on. I had to remember how to go into setup mode on my ResMed "ForHer" apap machine. Changed it to full face.

Doing all this one of several things happen.
* either I don't sleep again;
* or I get away with it and somehow sleep again. AHI was ok this time.
* I stay awake all night, trying to fix leaks from my Evora Full.

I got about 6 hours sleep; not enough. I didn't have mask marks today. First day in months.

Note to self. Be grateful that I can wear the Evora Full. I'm claustrophobic. It's the first ffm I can wear all night.
Question to self. Is there a ffm that will work better? Apologies Larry. I don't like wearing your knightsbridge dual band cap. Why do I have 3 of them?

Thank heaven I worked out what it takes to use a fem

I have 2 choices of mask that work

ResMed N20i as long as I use my Knightsbridge Dual Band cap. Except I have mask strap marks and cap strap masks that last more than half a day

F&P Evora Full. Except I can’t use a pillow.
