[Pressure] Apap min pressure optimization

Apap min pressure optimization
Hi everybody, this is my first post, willing to be advised by this experienced forum as my doctor is not familiar with Apaps. After 289 of therapy these are my numbers: AHI: 2,45 / OI: 0,43 / HI: 1,80 / CA: 0,14 / FL: 0,53 / RERA: 0,93 / Average pressure: 4,87 / 90% pressure: 6,90. Under these numbers - in order to optimize therapy, should I adjust minimum pressure from 4,0 to average or 90%, or leave it as it is. Another concern is flow wave form, I'm worried about the time I remain without exhaling / inspiring, is it normal?.

Minimum pressure of 7cm sounds about right. Welcome to Apnea Board.

Julio, it would be more helpful if you attached a jpeg file that shows the screenshot of the Daily view from SleepyHead. Be sure to have pressure in the view below the events section. See the link below in my signature on how to optimize the layout of SleepyHead. Be sure to turn off the pie chart, and the blue menu bar on the right.

It is hard to comment without seeing what your pressures are when the events occur.

I think Walla Walla is correct. Raise your IPAP to 7 and leave the EPAP at 4. Post another SH chart after a nights sleep so we can see what changed.

All you need to do is navigate to your Sleepyhead Daily Details, press F12, and the screenshot will be saved in My Documents/Sleepyhead/Screenshots. The PDF report is really not as good. See the Organizing Your Sleepyhead Charts link in my signature.

I think you will do better with a 7 cm minimum.

Will change minimum to 7 cm as suggested, will let you know about changes in the next days.

Lets see if png format is suitable, mainly concerned about I:E ratio and flow wave form and time in zero without respiring, thanks in advance for the comments.
