It is not noisy at all, very Quiet. My problem is that when I turn it on the air flow is intense, but once I put on the mask it is fine. I do feel that the pressure is set to high and I would like to change it. I have been having plugged ears since I have gotten it, so I think the pressure it set to high and would like to change it to see if that makes a difference. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

How to change pressure
I have had a cpap for about the last 6 years .. I just got the Resmed Airsense 10.

RE: How to change pressure
Welcome Clipperinmn, you really should check your data before you make any changes, you can download free software either Sleepyhead link below (my prefered) or ResScan link below.
http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...to+resScan I have also attached links to Sleepyhead Youtube video's you may want to look at. http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead Link to Sleepyhead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuAnzBVWYD4 Link to Sleepyhead Youtube Video part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmhXkmeJDIM Link to Sleepyhead Youtube Video part 2 If you haven't had your pressures changed or looked at for 6 years you really should get another sleep study done first and get your recommended pressures. We are reluctant on here to give people advice on changing pressures as everyone is different and your Specialist may have a different opinion to us. When you can post your results on here (after 7 posts), I'm sure we could look at your results. Start out with the software and ask us any questions.

RE: How to change pressure
Encourage you to put the mask on first (especially nasal pillows), get it comfortable and THEN turn on pressure.
What makes you say the pressure is "too high"? you profile says 9 which is generally a very modest pressure. Wind from leaks is almost the only way you can "feel" pressure (difficulty exhaling can be another, but most people adapt to that or use EPR etc.) Most loud sounds and experiencing of pressure are really going to be due to leaks. It's the high air flow through the leak that causes the sounds and allows us to "feel" the pressure DIFFERENTIAL in most cases. Some masks may be excessively noisy due to the normal exhaust (but note this is just another form of "leak" but one that is designed into the mask.) One benefit of the P10 is that it is virtually silent (when there are no leaks.) Even at pressures of 14 or higher, it's sometimes hard to tell the machine is *ON* when using the P10 and there are no leaks. (Usually I must purposely exhaust air through my mouth to be certain.)
