[Pressure] Pressure for beginners

Question
Pressure for beginners
I've been recently diagnosed with moderate OSA (AHI 18) and will be starting treatment soon. My doctor prescribed 5-12 cm H2O.
However, I've read a few posts saying most people need at least 7. One person experienced convulsions on their first night with a pressure of 4.

Any advice on whether I should go with my doctor's prescription or change some settings on my own? I'll be getting an Air Sense 11.

I live alone and don't wanna die in my sleep lol

RE: Pressure for beginners
You'll likely do best with combining seeing data in OSCAR, posting it to get suggestions, then changing it yourself. Even 5-15 is too come cookie cutter generic in my opinion.
INFORMATION ON APNEA BOARD FORUMS OR ON APNEABOARD.COM SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED MEDICAL ADVICE. ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF A PHYSICIAN BEFORE SEEKING TREATMENT FOR MEDICAL CONDITIONS, INCLUDING SLEEP APNEA. INFORMATION POSTED ON THE APNEA BOARD WEBSITE AND FORUMS ARE PERSONAL OPINION ONLY AND NOT NECESSARILY A STATEMENT OF FACT.
