After reading these comments, if and when my AS10 needs replacing, I'd seek another AS10.  My AS10 is not noisy.  Wish it held more water.  I like the screen/knob, and would not want a touch screen.

I have found that my pressures seem to be lower not by much but from 14cm avg to 12 avg now and my AHI are similar to what they were with both the S9 and AS10 (until it failed).

On the same settings, the algorithm is much better and smoother. I received good results with an average pressure of 10.6. On the A10, my average pressure was always in the high 13s.

The impact of the new software (?) of 11 on the AHI scores reported by Cobra 4X4 and Foss(Jeff) is significant. Has ResMed released anything about the difference between 10 and 11 in this respect? If not, some of our experts might be willing to comment on it. If the crowd confirms this observation, most of the users of 10 might want to switch to 11.

I am replacing my Philips Dreamstation and have absolutely had *enough* of Philips.  My sleep specialist recommended a ResMed Airsense 11. Would be a direct purchase no insurance nonsense, but after reading several negative comments from long-time ResMed users about the new hose connection, less water capacity, expensive filters, etc,  I'm not sure which machine I want.  Any former Dreamstation users who switched to a Airsense 11 have opinions / suggestions?

We have a Resmed 10 and an 11 in the house (the 11 is mine) and I have absolutely no problems with it. The 10 and the 11 hold exactly the same amount of water. I have no problems with the change that Resmed made with the hose connection, when placed on the night stand I would never have to rotate it anyway. My 11 doesn't seem loud to me, I don't hear it, and I didn't hear the 10 either. I like the touch screen. I see on Amazon you can get 60 filters for under $15.00... They are both good machines, but there is nothing wrong with an 11.

Larry- thanks for your post on the Airsense 11.  You didn’t mention if you were a former Philips Dreamstation user. A lot of us are dumping Philips due to the scandalous way Philips tried to address the recall.  Philips replaced my Dreamstation with a refurbished Dreamstation unit that had 4000 more blower hours.  Appreciate your comments on the 10 and 11.

I'm curious if some of the difference is the inclusion of the algorithm from the AS 10 for Her?  Both my husband and I use the AS 10 for Her with much better results than just the "usual" algorithm.  My AS10 for Her is at end of life, and I'm debating between getting another AS10 for Her (more expensive) or the new AS11.  I had read the AS11 includes both algorithms, and if so, will go with the AS11 as it's less expensive than current A10 for Her.

ResMed 11 Side Cover.

If you do not use the humidifier, there is a Side Cover for the ResMed 11. It costs about $20 and replaces the humidifier water chamber. It reduces the size of the machine and also allows a slight increase in maximum flow rate (i.e. from 138 L/min to 145 L/min at 12 cm H2O w SlimLine hose).

I looked at AS-11 pricing today from several suppliers on the AB list for a direct purchase and didn't find any good deals.  One had a $649 special but I suspect it was for a refurbished AS-11 rather than a new one.  It wasn't listed as a refurb in the listing or in the cart during checkout.  Does anyone have any supplier recommendations from a recent new AS-11 purchase?  Thanks...
