Query on the oscar software
I just started using the Airsense 10 RESMED with a nasal mask (Philips respironics dreamwear).
On noticing the "Events" tab, i see this next to my obstructive sleep apnea.

What is the thing that is being indicated in brackets/Parentheses? Please guide me.

RE: Query on the oscar software
You need to use OSCAR free from the top of the site. Download it to a computer. put an SD card in the slot of your cpap. record the night sleep on the card (card must be in the machine to record - you can NOT put it in after you have slept.) take a screenshot using F12 and post to the board. People here can an will help you. Set up your charts like is in my signature...

The number within the parentheses "()" are the number in seconds that the event lasted. Please read the Beginner's Guide that I have linked in my signature for more information on OSCAR.

That is only true forResmed machines, not for Respironics... The Total Time in Apnea is calculated from this.

RE: Query on the oscar software
The number in parentheses represents how long your apneas were (in seconds).

If your profile is correct, you are using a wide open setting of 4-20. It looks like you will need a higher pressure to tackle the Obstructives. A minimum pressure of 4 is most likely too low and should be raised to at least 6 or 7. We can advise better after seeing some data.

As stated above, post a screenshot of the daily page in OSCAR. Use the link below to guide you in setup of the graph, then use the attachment feature to post here.

Also, start a new thread in the Main Forum for therapy questions.
