Question About These Flat Lines

Question About These Flat Lines
I was looking at some of my flow charts and noticed I have these periodic flat parts in my breathing all throughout the night. My pressure is set to 9 (CPAP) and EPR is at a 3. Is this bad?

RE: Question About These Flat Lines
To my eye that looks more like awake breathing than sleep breathing. You may have come out of a deeper sleep state and almost awoken, then nodded off again. You can see the drop in tidal volume  and I would expect you would see it in the respiration rate as well.

Basically, nothing to be concerned with at the moment. If one dig deeply enough into the flow rate you will find all sorts of wonky things that are strange looking, but normal.

While you did not ask, I think adding a wee bit more pressure would feel better, but without seeing more of the chart I cannot figure out how much more pressure you may want to try.

Which chart do you need to see I can upload a few more pictures. Also that flatline I pointed at happens repeatedly (I looked through many spots on the graph). Is that still ok even though it's happening so much?

See if you can shrink the graphs to fit more onto the screen. Read the link in my signature "Formatting OSCAR Charts" to see what graphs we recommend posting.

I expect bumping up the min a wee bit make do the trick. Something like min=8 and max=11, but I want to see the full charts before locking that in for ya to try.
