How to set up O2 ring for 2nd user

Does anyone know how to configure the ring/app/O2 software to accommodate a second user? I'd like to track spouses O2 at night for a few weeks or more.

Not that I know of. O2 Insight Pro only allows for the default user, with no provision to allow additional users. . . easily. If you create a different location to store the other user's data, you can go into Options and change the data location to store only that user's data. You will need to do this before downloading the oximeter's data, else it will corrupt the existing data.

In playing with the profile options, I found that you are limited to 99lbs. for a person's weight.

But wondering if the ring can differentiate Person A data from Person B when you download? I suspect it just logs ALL data when activated into a single data file such that when I download it (to either persons profile) it will contain (mix) data of both people.

Since the SleepU and the O2Ring (I think) stores the last 3 sessions, you will need to delete them before the other user wears it. These devices are dumb device and only record the data it is sensing. They lack the capability to differentiate between users. A user is a user.

Not sure if this would help.....

The daily data record can be marked/tagged with an identifier which could be a different user. To mark a record you right click on it and select 'Mark'. It will bring up a box to enter text as shown below. It wouldn't be a separate dataset for your wife, but it would be easy to pick out her records. The mark/tag can be removed by right clicking and deleting the text in the box if needed. Note.... Marking the record is not reflected in the O2 Insight Pro/DATA files, only in the record shown in the program. The file does however have the date and time embedded in it so a record and a file could be correlated: 20230531230702.

I could be wrong, but the O2 Insight Pro software goes by the serial number of the device. So unless your wife gets her own device then StratCat's suggestion may be your only option.

This is the response I got from Wellue:

The PC software allocates data according to the serial number of the device, so all the data of a single device(with 2 users' data) will be in the same SN number, as shown below.
We recommend remembering the time everyone used it, and change the name on the pc report.

ps: Only the mobile app can support multiple users. But we also need to remember the time the user used and then we can assign the records to the right user.
