Quitethe1 Therapy Thread from CPAP to ASV

RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated
Quithe1, it looks like 6.6 is working fine as a minimum pressure. I'd like you to try EPR 2 to see if that can resolve flow limits and to see if it has any affect on your centrals. Your central apnea rate was actually lower with EPR 1. Max pressure can be brought down to 10.0.

Here is last nights Oscar.  I felt very air deprived, but stuck it our so the results wouldn't be skewed.  I changed pillows as well.

Do you think that this could possibly be an explanation for you being 'very air deprived' ?

I think we should increase minimum pressure to 8.0, maximum 10.0 and keep EPR at 2 for now. The new chart does not suggest either an improvement or worsening of the CAI incidents. Flow limit has dropped from 0.03 on March 7 to 0.00 with EPR 2, and there is no difference in the tidal volume, so I suspect you just need the higher minimum exhale pressure to feel supported. Hopefully this change will improve how you feel.

I watched the video, but I don’t think so. I sleep on my side. I asked my husband and he only sees me on my side when he gets up at night and in the morning. I like to hug on my body pillow too. I will get a cervical collar and try that. I also messaged my sleep dr about an in lab sleep study. My germ OCD may not let me do it. My heart races when I think about it.

I appreciate the suggestions and I am working on trying them all out.

This wasn't a great night either.  Just don't feel rested, could be the time change as well.  I have a referral for an in lab sleep study.  I'm sure it will be more than a few months.  I just want to sleep and I truly appreciate all your help.  I am not sure why there isn't data for the first half of the night.  The 3rd pic is just the information stretched out.  I made the changes above and I changed the ramp pressure so I could handle when the 8 kicked in.

If you think I am a lost cause, just let me know.  There are so many of us to help on this forum.

You’re not a lost cause, but your CPAP may be. We have made no progress with this device, but that is not on you. ASV is a sure solution to achieve a near-zero AHI in spite of your high central apnea rate. We jus have to coach getting the right therapy.

Felt more awake this morning.  Don't mind the mess at the beginning.  I was trying different size cushions.  Then I couldn't sleep....ugh.
