Raise Lower pressure setting
My ResMed device is set with a variable pressure setting of 6.5 to 14. Looking via OSCAR I see it stays low until an have an APNEA and then varies from 9-14. Is there a problem is just setting it to 14. By the way AHI is running well below 5. Last night it was 0.69 with about 8 events in 10 hrs. I am trying to fine tune the device and also investigating why I am awakened in REM sleep.

RE: Raise Lower pressure setting
It does seem like you need a higher minimum pressure. If able, post a screenshot of the daily page in OSCAR.

RE: Raise Lower pressure setting
sorry about last post. I pasted a png and it looks like the forum did not like that . How do I post a screen shot?

RE: Raise Lower pressure setting
I would increase the minimum pressure to closer to 9 and lower the maximum to 13..5
That would make things more comfortable and less leaks at higher pressures.

Thank you, I will give it a try tonight and monitor for awhile before I inform my Dr. I doubt he will care since I have such good results with current settings.

No worries, It didn't go just to me, I was just saying it looks like you were successful posting the screen shot after having asked about it.

RE: Raise Lower pressure setting
I agree that you need to raise the min... You have EPR set to full time 3? If not make that change. The reason your pressures are going up is your flow limits. Resmed raises pressure when it senses a flow limit to try and limit it and not allow it to become an Oa or H event.
Min of 9 EPR full time set to 3
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing

RE: Raise Lower pressure setting
My ERP was set to 2, I changed it to 3. Any other suggestions?
