Resmed 11 data shows no ahi

Resmed 11 data shows no ahi
Hello - I've been using the Resmed 11 for a couple years now. The Resmed app shows very low AHI (0-3) yet I still feel tired throughout the day (I had an in-lab sleep study done where it showed mild sleep apnea). In any case, the sleep specialist tells me the machine is working as expected and just to continue using it and use a stimulant if/when tired.

I've uploaded the card data to sleep hq and have attached screenshots.

Appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

First, best to use OSCAR for posting reports. The instructions for downloading OSCAR and formatting the charts are linked in my signature.

From what I can tell with the information posted, there look to be a number of arousals that may be contributing to the tired feeling. Quality sleep is much more than AHI, so while CPAP may resolve or reduce AHI contributing factors, it can do nothing to impact other sleep hygiene issues.

Give this a read and see if anything resonates.

Thank you for posting that. Much easier for me to read.

You can see that with your current setting of pressure 6-8 EPR 2, there are quite a few flow limitations that are causing the machine to try and raise the pressure (see 23:30, 01:30, and 04:10), but as it is capped at 8 it has nowhere to go. The snores are also a good indicator of not having enough pressure.

I would not do anything drastic at this time. Instead, let’s try giving it a bit more EPR and add some to the top end to see how things go.

Consider trying the following:

Mode APAP
Min pressure 7
Max pressure 10
EPR 3 full-time
No ramp

Hopefully that will be comfortable for you. Give it a go for a night or two and let us know how it is working.
