The problem is likely with the forum software's wysiwyg editor. Best to disable it by going to user control panel>edit options and tick the last box "Put the editor in source mode by default".

Yup! We discovered the issue soon after migrating to this forum software platform. When you paste in text the wysiwyg editor inserts a whole bunch of text formatting codes. Colors, fonts, font sizes, etc. A real pain.
