It is only the S9 that a power failure is an issue and a reinitalise is required. As the S9 does not like the flashair config files on the card and formats the sd card to remove them, an A10 does not care but as you have found the IP address can and does change. Either fix the IP Address in the config or on your router (or both) sometimes on some routers you can just use flashair instead of the IP address to talk to the flashair card but it does to always work.
Most providers do not care about detailed data for compliance the summary session info (usage and ahi for the last 365 days) is rewritten to the SD card after the card is formatted that is sufficient for your dr.
