Restoring data OSCAR to CPAP

Restoring data OSCAR to CPAP
Yes, I did it! Oh-jeez  I deleted everything on my data card from the CPAP. I think OSCAR may hold a backup of the data. If that is true, should I just depend on the daily backup from my PC to preserve the OSCAR data or should I try to restore the data from Oscar to the CPAP card? Thanks!

RE: Restoring data Oscar to CPAP
Unfortunately, OSCAR doesn't backup or store the entire content of the SD card, only enough to recreate the charts that it displays. It is not possible to restore the date on the SD card from OSCAR's backup files.

You would have to be doing incremental backups every day, using some different program, since only a few files are added or changed every day.

The machine itself does store a year's worth of summary statistics, but not the detailed data that OSCAR uses to create the flow and pressure graphs.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I guess I'll just have to move on with what data I have. Truly, it isn't critical for me to have more than summary data, it is just a big blow to my ego for doing such a dumb thing.

I hate to break it to you, but you're no Robinson Crusoe when it comes to doing dumb things with data. Wink We've all been there one way or other.

You don't use a Toshiba FlashAir SD card and FlashPAP to load data to OSCAR, do you? If so, you should have a full backup of your SD card on your computer, usually on your root C: drive. If not, it's something you may wish to consider going forward, not only for the convenience but for the backup that's made.
